BAP Out of London

Wessex Activities

cornfieldIn 2002, a group of BAP therapists in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire came together to develop a training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. We recognised that there were people in the region and beyond, working in related fields, who wished to train professionally but who, due to work commitments, could not make the regular journey into London. Since 2003 the BAP Wessex Training Committee, WTC, continues to run many lively and successful events on Saturday mornings in Oxford and Reading. They bring together psychotherapists, psychologists, medical staff, counsellors and other professionals from nearby counties.

To find out more about training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy with adults, see Training Prospectus. For information on short courses for those interested in psychoanalytic ideas, and opportunities for continuing professional development, see Courses

The Wessex Admin Office is based in Reading. For information about activities offered in the Region please click on Noticeboard or contact the administrators.
