These courses are designed for those already qualified and working as counsellors and/or psychotherapists and who wish to further their knowledge and understanding of Psychoanalytic and Jungian Analytical ideas. The following evening/ weekend courses are led by experienced BAP psychotherapists. Successful completion qualifies for a CPD Certificate.
Developing Assessment Skills 2011: Ref. CPD/1 Book
This series of seminars aims to demonstrate the importance of assessment. A Jungian Approach to Art in Therapy 2011: Ref. CPD/3 Book
This series of six morning workshops is aimed at professional therapists who wish to deepen their understanding of Jung, creativity and image making. Each workshop will begin with a theoretical presentation by a Jungian Analyst followed by a discussion on the topic presented. There will be experiential workshops and clinical discussion groups exploring emerging themes with the opportunity for participants to bring images from their clinical practice. Professionals are invited to explore the various Jungian approaches to dream interpretation. Thinking about Retirement and its Planning 2011: Ref. CPD/11 Book
Three Saturday mornings intended for counsellors and psychotherapists who are planning or thinking about their own retirement and anticipating the issues which have to be faced and achieved during this important developmental stage. It will be particularly helpful for those working independently for whom there is neither a formalised structure nor process for retiring. Participants will have the opportunity to explore in depth their own individual concerns and anxieties in small and large groups.
